Leader of the CCD-CROP-IAC, chaired the meeting with the international researchers, members of the project. The meeting, held remotely on May 12^th, 2022, was attended by scientists Craig Hardner, from the University of Queensland, in Australia, Roberto Fritsche Neto, from IRRI- International Rice Research Institute, in the Philippines, Rodrigo Gazaffi, from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar-Araras), Graciela da Rocha Sobierajski and Sinara Oliveira de Aquino, the latter two also from the IAC, responsible for the areas of fruit and citrus, respectively.

“The objective of the meeting was to take up the works of the CCD-CROP-IAC project relative to the genomic selection and genome-wide association (GWAS) aimed at finding associations between the genetic locus and the resistance to HLB in the citrus populations under study”, Mariângela comments.
